I am the writer of the Empress of Business world novel. I started writing it for the last three months. I can say it is going well ( maybe or may not be😅).

The thing is I need an editor who can help me to edit my novel. The previous chapters and as well as the chaps that I will be going to write in the future.

    I always feel excited to see these threads because I think I can try proof reading...until I reread my own works that are in dire need of help. I do draw for free, but even the outlines take so much time.

    I talk too much and unfortunately, that is not what you're asking for, but I hope you are lucky enough to find a free editor.

    If you need a quick hit for proofreading, this tool might help. It's an alternative to Grammarly.
    https://languagetool.org/ It has a Google Docs and Chrome extension too. I use it for spot checking as I go. I use the free version.

    For content editing, you either need to learn more on grammar or use some cheap services. Fiverr has some cheap rates from anglophones who can professional edit a story. I've linked a couple of editors who offer reasonable rates.

      Oh I get some nice helpful readers who leave me comments on my typos. it's really helpful.

      I wish I have enough readers to point out typos and mistakes. I use multiple sites for simple corrections, but those do not look at structure and flow. I would rather have my works torn apart than continue with poor quality.

      Ms_Anonymous Tbh, as much as I’d like to say good luck finding an editor, and I do, realistically, you’re probably not going to find one for free. So the only choices are as mentioned by others above, or to offer to read or edit another writer’s story as “payment” who will also act as your own editor. That’s another option that might be more feasible, but it still might be difficult since the English competency levels might not be equal, so one story could be edited better than the other. Honestly, unless you’re looking to publish commercially, the best option is to learn better grammar with free online resources. Editing your own work after not looking at it for some time helps you catch more errors and read more objectively. All the best to you.

        I tried editing it since I'm bored. I can't find your profile in discord so I'm just posting it here. I suggest reading it before using it( or not) because I might have done something wrong. They're only slight changes tho. And there's also a free Grammarly as long as you don't buy the premium and subscriptions. Bye, bye.

        In Country A

        Lu yan shu arrived at the college bit early as she has to go through some notes about business management. In actual fact, she is a computer science student however, she took Business management as her additional course since she had an interest in the business field and wants to venture to it after her studies. Since it's too early for her class she chose to spend most of the time in the library.

        Lu yan shu entered the library and enquired the librarian where she can find a business management book. He said that it is on the second floor fifth shelf. So she went to the second floor to take it.

        The library is located in the middle of Fengshan University. Fengshan library consists of 3 levels. It is very big and spacious.

        One can use the building as a big shopping complex due to its enormous size.

        It has four floors. Each floor has 100 shelves. And each shelf has nearly 200 books. Each Shelve consists of 20 racks in it. The books are arranged according to the category they belonged to.

        She grumbled inside her head, cursing the library for being so big. After searching for nearly six to eight minutes she finally found the book that she desired.

        She sat on a table near her and immersed herself in that book.

        After an hour her wristwatch vibrated indicating that she has a class in an hour. Then only she lifted her head from the book. She looked around her surroundings for a while. After glancing for a while she returned back the book from where she brought it. She began striding out of the library as she needed to attend the lesson.

        Suddenly her stomach grumbled. Only then did she remember that she hadn't had her breakfast. So she decided to go to the canteen to grab some food. While she was on her way to the canteen she recalled how she worked hard to get into this University.

        Lu Yan Shu studies in Fengshan university. It is a Top one University in country A. To get a seat in this university a student must get 90% as a mark in their entrance exam. To get into this university Lu Yan Shu worked her ass out. And when she thought back to everything she did she felt it all worth it now.

        When she entered the canteen only forty minutes only. When she was to enter, she received a call from Tan Song Yun, her friend.

        Song Yun: Hi Yan Shu. Where are you?

        Yan Shu : Hello. I am in college. I am going to the canteen to grab some food.

        Song Yun: Great! Then I'll also be heading there. Meet me there.

        Yan Shu : Ok then, bye.

        Yan Shu quickly arrived at the Canteen. She found her friend waiting for her near the entrance. Yan Shu waved her hand at her. While the latter waved her two hands excitedly. She felt amused when she saw her friend behaving childishly.

        Soon she went near her. While they are going in, Yan Shu got a call. She thought of picking the call but after seeing the number she frowned. Song Yun who is observing her friend all the while detected the frown and uneasiness on her friend's face.

        Song Yun cannot hold her curiosity and asked "Why don't you pick up the call? Who is it? ".

        "It's my brother," she replied.

        "What!!!!?!? " Song Yun nearly shouted.
