I think this topic should be discussed in that actual spirity awards thread(aka the thread which Yue-bot approved) rather than in Veronica's thread.
All the best to all the authors, tho! :)

AriaKang I already mentioned it to her in the April Promotion thread. She said that the reason was that she had lost her account somehow, and that she has already spoken with staff and been allowed to reupload it. That it will become contracted again.
It is a little unfair that it is a part of the contest, considering it was made quite some time ago, and that it was already a contracted novel. It also sucks for the people who already paid for unlocking her chapters, now have to pay to unlock them again, but since she has permission, I am not in a position to judge.

OMG! This is madness!
Lizabelle88 I love Ally Law xD
It's ridiculous. Several of us have complained to their content editors because this contest was totally unfair for the authors recently contracted and then one author would be allowed to to that? It doesn't work like that and i doubt Webnovel would allow something like this.
Woah. I go for a short time and drama begins. Good to see peeps are on top of the situo.
For those into day 2. Take each day a chapter a time. You can do it!
Veronica8 Nice one I love that

I would prefer not to make too much drama in this thread, but I might as well quickly reply. I do not condone what she has done, I also find it unfair, but since she claims her editor has given permission I cannot be the one to judge. The final rule in the contest is that Webnovel reserves the final right to interpret the rules. As such I can do nothing, even if I did find it unfair.
Anyway, to come back to the topic that this thread is really about, then I am quite excited to say that I have reached my goal for the day! Time to celebrate!
So this is the "cheer squad," not the "conspiracy theory squad." Please make your own threads if you wanna play 'what-if'.
Shadowfang It is fair cuz the contest doesnt mean Ranking. We might be unable to avoid unqualified stories to participate in, we are more than enough to leave it away from the reward queue.
WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL Don't tell me you can't help a contracted author recover their account just because their email got hacked?
Teething issues aside. The motivational quote for
Sometimes when writing, you may doubt if you're writing a good story. Push aside all those doubts and just write.
You can do it!
Thankyou for the encouragement :) my novel is going in a good pace write now. :)
Affirmation for today.
My writing is a failure. Failure is practically my second name. To me, this isn't a bad thing. I see my writing as future opportunities. If my writing doesn't meet the now, it might be for the future.
Every try is a opening to an opportunity.
Keep Going! A week may seem like barely a dent, but stick to a routine that's fun and achievable.
YOU CAN DO IT!
Believe it or not, I'm a depressed writer. I have to constantly fight through self doubt and fears whenever I write into my stories. It's why I'm known for the quote of today. "Rejection is a Challenge".
Why is this a motivation?
Lemme give you a back story. About a few years back, I felt cocky to pitch one of my fantasy sagas to a traditional publisher, after I had placed in a review contest that a Lit Agency ran. Something similar to https://twitter.com/ReviseResub.
Rather than get a chance and foot in the door, I faced rejection after rejection. Spending an exorbitant amount of money just to receive a "no thanks" or nothing at all. When I finally received that one acceptance with a well known trad house, I faced rejection again upon editor handover. I was a mess at this point. I gave up my story back then.
But I didn't give up on writing itself.
When my emotions and head had cleared, I had recognized the valuable lessons from my experience, which fueled my motivation to continue pursing my author ambitions.
The important meaning of this message is to not surrender your dreams to rejection, self doubt and fear. Instead, see rejection as a challenge to grow from and overcome.
YOU CAN ACHIEVE IT!
