Beast companion? Have you tried Chronicles of Primordial Wars? The novel has beast companion(s), cultivation, traveling... It's not too bad atm.
u can try "desolate era" it's also a very good one and it has a very good plot. MC is also not too arrogant. It's Algood story.

You should try reading The Sacred Ruins. Fulfills all your requirements. Basically like the start of Swallowed Star with better romance, sentient beasts, and faceslapping that is more satisfying than LotHP's. Once you get through the fairly slow start (10-20 chapters) it will only improve every chapter. Mc is badass. Translation quality and release stability has been great the past few months (chapters are 1.5-2 times as long as most other novels), which was what annoyed people when they started reading it at it's release so now the first couple of reviews are outdated, leading to people ignoring this gem.
Lord_Krull ~Ancient Godly Monarch~ MC is no psy for sure and its not repetitive like you described the last one to be, I started reading it with little to no expectations especially from the description but was pleasently surprised as i began reading it started out a tad different its not a reincarnation like most and after the first few chapters where it builds up characters and stort line the MC explodes into the sceen and the story keeps getting better! Im waiting for each and every new chapter! Also another one is ~Against The Gods~ another BA MC! And ~Chaotic Sword God~ is again another BA MC these 3 have kept me waiting for more along with ~Legend Of Ling Tian~ and ~War Sovern Soaring the Heavens~ but dont confuse this with Saoring the Heavens! 2 completely different stories!! But anyways i hope you enjoy them as i noticed you have read all the same ones i have before so we seam to have similar taste and i agree i hate main mc being a psy!!!
Lord_Krull oh also ~Great Demon King~ Necromancer strong MC as long as you don't mind agressive MC, and also ~God Of Slaughter~ good story but MC is Sexually Agressive if it doesnt offend then you should enjoy it non the less. Also one last I can think of im reading is ~Undefeated God of War~ its also has very funny moments when the characters are funny as hell in their slaughtering and wanting to fight everyone they meet one perticular want to speer everyone to death!! Well i hope you find my 2 msgs usefull and i could help in some way!

Leylin_Farlier agreed, Reverend Insanity is good, the mc is a demon( walk the demonic dao) don't have a companion until now in the translations and is always thinking of which steps to do and what will happen if he do that.
Mlongue I use the word companion very liberally, since I consider that the Gu are companions. After all, not all companions are friends, sometimes they are just tools you feed and take care of.

Read The Strange Life of a Cat. The mc is definitely not a p*ssy, and its really unique. There are "pet" companions if those count lol, and the novel is really humorous. Also, it depends on what kind of novel you want to be recommended.
Absolute Choice;
no repetitive characters, every character is unique with a personality, every character has a deep background story, arcs are LONG but satisfying, on par with library of heaven's path in humour or even better, Power boosts, unique cultivation style, World has so much, so many, powerful people and organisations that any one of them has potential to heavily impact the direction of the story(author has my praises for this), no cliche 3rd grade organisation to top 3 organisation stuff that you see all the time, you will not help but fall in love with the mc even if you become gay lol.
Personally; this reminds me of the first 3 seasons of dragon ball, but thats only my opinion and even if you hate dragon ball im 99% sure ull like this story.

Lord_Krull Night Ranger and Assassin's Chronicle is what you are looking for. They are really underrated but quite great! Actually i don't even know how you can stand reading Library of Heaven's Path... I tried that and dropped like 100 chapters in since i couldn't take the logic holes at every corner and all that repetitive sh*t... I must say you have so much more tolerance then me...
I second night ranger, it's one of 4 i actually look forward to. The other one on QI is Castle of Black Iron. two others are kn vrmmo stories, haroon and overgeared. one only updates once a weak while the other is both interesting and annoying as hell.
