look i just finished the novel Commanding wind and cloud, and i am disappointed, i want to start a reading of a new novel but nothing appears good. if you want to help me have in mind:

i dont want the mc be a p*ssy

i dont want repetition of character(in Commanding wind and cloud the best friend of the MC dies and in the next arc he meets a new character that is exactly equal to his dead friend, not in the way of plot device but lazy writing)

i would like beast companions but is not necessary

P.S:i already read swallowed star, the ultimate evolution, galactic dark net,I’m Really a Superstar,Gourmet Food Supplier,Rebirth: How A Loser Became A Prince Charming,Pet King,Fishing the Myriad Heavens,Trafford's Trading Club, NEET Receives a Dating Sim System, The King's Avatar, The Great Thief, Epoch of Twilight,Release That Witch, Warlock of the Magus World,Coiling Dragon,Library of Heaven's Path, The Desolate Era and God and Devil World

P.P.S.:please say why it is a good novel and why i should start reading it

Why don't you read Feng Xia novels :O

Otherworldy Evil Monarch, Transcending the nine heavens, I am Supreme, Legend of Ling Tian, even the worst Realms in the Firmament is better than most standard xianxia that pop out.

I am reading Limitless and Martial Arts Master which could please you.
Martial Arts Master takes place in the Modern Wolrd though.

Reverend Insanity (Otherwise known as Gu Daoist Master) has the exact character you are looking for. A manly man that knows how to plot and read the room whilst also having a myriad of beast companions.

Seoul Stations Necromancer has a good MC and many beast 'undead' companions.

        Throne of Magical Arcana
        The devil's cage
        way of the devil

you will not find any garbage tropes such as arrogant you master in them

Read some of the new novels. My recomendation is for you to elegir any novel, read some chapters, and going to the next novel, so, if you find something that you like, you can continue to read that novel...

Lord_Krull Glad that you like it, and I agree the start was confusing, however the one thing I don't understand very well is the cultivation, it is rare that a novel truly shackles the MC into their own box, like the mc can only have 44% of his essence, ever, unless he gets OP rare gu that require massive plot armor or extremely powerful clans to obtain.

Leylin_Farlieri understood the the 44% were for his newly formed center of energie, you can see this when starts to refinat and it increases to 12% and this 12% is for his maximum capacity and is spokened that the spring stones that are used for currency are the source of their energy, in that time his uncles had diminished their support to him, so he did not have how to extract energy so he used his savings and he only could extracts are 44% of his currently capacity, you see this too when he stole the money from his brother, the reaction of his uncles are because now he had enough power to cultivate.

Lord_Krull Not sure what this 12% is about but no, what I mean is from the moment he is born till the moment he dies he will only EVER HAVE 44% of his aperture filled. Unless he gets heaven defying gu he will always be at 44%, each cultivation level only makes it so that his energy is more pure. I don't like or get this, what is the point of making the mc so weak, his own brother can literally hold more than double his amount and it regenerate more than twice as fast as his does, this is just retarded, I understand talent but I don't understand why no matter how hard he works he will always have 44%, unless he relies on outside resources like gu. It doesn't make sense, literally NO OTHER cultivation novel has ever done this, at least I haven't read one that has done this, and I've read a lot. The only example of this that is even close to matching this absurd cultivation limit in this authors world is the Martial Spirit books like Douluo/Immortal/PMG/etc

EternalCreator Yeah I wanted to recommend it too but you beat me to it haha.

Lord_Krull First thing that attracted me to this novel is the sheer amount of chapters.
Though I had no proof before I started reading, I had a hunch that the world-building on this novel is excellent, and I was not disappointed. From time to time there would be some hints to the history of the world/realm/cultivation techniques, then as the MC gets more and more powerful he big picture gets revealed.

(recommending a novel is harder than I thought -- especially when trying to minimize spoilers)
Also, the author doesn't just introduce more and more replaceable characters, he also reintroduces them after a while. Even though MC will, in time vastly surpass the powers of his peers, they still have a part on the story.
                  Great translation quality, too.

Lost count on how many times I had to google a character or realm because a part of me wanted to know what's gonna happen in advance (I know... it's bad practice but I couldn't help myself lol), but even with all the spoilers, when I get to that arc, the plot is still fresh. I guess I should give the wiki guys a thumbs-up for not providing too much info.

Oh wow, why has no one suggested History's Strongest Senior Brother?

                    http://www.novelupdates.com/series/historys-strongest-senior-brother/

It's got a really good story with a non-shonenesque MC. He is very powerful from the start but that's because of his past knowledge, not a cheat device/ability/system. The main plot is also going on very well but in terms of romance, it's virtually non-existent.
In terms of a beast companion, there is a beast companion that briefly makes an appearance. The MC is this calm, seemingly all-knowing person who always seems to have everything under control.

                      Neverfire7 I read this.
                      It is a good book.
Maybe it was overlooked because MC is a p*ssy.

                      Joke

Seriously though, you guys should read this.

Veldora dude the status quo never changes, he always have the same characters around the MC, the technique that gives name to the novel doesnt appears until chapter 100, the author loves to present us with "new" characters but he dont disinvolves them, the rhythm is all over the place. and the tropes constantly repeat themselves. and until today i dont understand what context is ugly from, they call him ugly but just the people that think he is weak, if is not a error in the traduction,so it's just plain stupid

Lord_Krull I'm not so sure about the ugly thing, but if I had to guess, it's because unlike most of the people he's met -- who are nurtured by the sects / great clans from an early age, he's only started the path of cultivation when he's 16 or so. So there's the thing about fairness of skin, etc. Also, probably because he's not a native of planet South Heaven (oops spoiler) so there could be a bit of difference to the usual facial features? idk, but I really didn't mind it and took it at face-value.

As for the technique, well... I think its cool to have it discovered / developed late in the game. It just means that the MC's original techniques aren't simply an OP version of the existing / ancient techniques.

New characters -- well, MC is a lone wolf most of the time, sure. But the characters that the author introduced -- especially the significant ones remakes an appearance on the major events of the MC's life like when he transmigrated into a demon by becoming one with the Violet Sea, or when his cultivation base has been absorbed, or when the civil war happened, when he was almost ERASED due to his Karma being severed, etc. Over time the interactions between these significant people will increase. I could say more but its pure spoiler so...,

As for the status quo and rhythm, hmmm I guess we just have different tastes. I admit that most of the novels you've read are still on my to-read list... I'm still reading a few Japanese novels...

As for the repetition, hmmmm, I just toughed it out with my guts lol.
But seriously, its a 1600+ chapters long, so I figured I'd let it pass. I guess I'm really biased in favor of ISSTH lol...
But the other novels that I would like to recommend has already been given... So I focused on this one haha~
