I'm also a little bit upset about the bots. It's disrupting the new rankings really badly. Stories that only have 4000 views have over 85 collections. That used to be almost impossible because that means one time every 10 clicks someone is adding the book to their library. Frankly, for seasoned writers, it disrupts there sense of how good or bad a book is doing. It's annoying, and is going to make it harder to find high quality work.

Guys, no need to panic. Your novel is so good that the robots fell in love with it.
Their creators could not give them enough intelligence as we are not that technologically advanced yet. So, they sound repetitive. You guys are just making them sad though this type of comments. I personally, love my robo-fans. They are adorable.

Well anyway the bots seem to have gone back into sleep mode for now.
According to my research on the bot comments I got, they were all between level 5 and 6, had only one badge, and began their barrage of comments from 11 to 8 days ago. Every one stopped suddenly exactly 3 days ago. All their comments were to authors with few chapters. The most I saw was one author with 23.

Wow after reading this whole thing I just feel even more sad... because I don't think that I'm getting either! 1 review (definitely from a human) and 60 collections (probably going to drop or raise a bit, idk) and 15k views!! IN TWO WEEKS!! I don't know what I should believe after reading this, and if all of that was all a lie (which from reading this I am almost expecting it) I might just use another site for my story (or stories, I'm unsure if I want to turn my book into a series or just have a really long book) The world we live in man, smh.

Oh wow, it's been a year since I've been to this forum, and what do I find? Exactly the kind of bs bandaid solution that I'd expect from this site. Imagine using a reCaptcha just for posting in a forum. It's hilarious, even, that the bots are so egregiously bad that they had to do that. Makes you wonder if posting is even worth it.
