If it's enabled, go back to your Library, click on the three dots on the cover [bottom-right] of the story you want to receive notifications for, and see if Update Notifications option is enabled.

- Go to your device's settings.
- Find the Apps & Notifications options, or simply Apps in some devices
- Choose Webnovel from the list that opens. If the list only shows a few apps and Webnovel isn't in it, click on Show all apps or something along those lines
- In the settings that open for Webnovel, choose the Storage option.
- In the new page that opens, click on Clear Data.
- Approve whatever pop-up opens and then open the Webnovel App again.
- Login.
- See if the issue is solved.

- Un-install the App
- Install the App
- Open the App and log in again.
- See if the issue is gone or if it still persists.

WHEN all hope is lost and no self-help guide works
- Open the App
- Go to Profile
- Scroll down to find Settings
- Open the Settings
- Click on About Webnovel
- Click on Network Diagnosis
- Click on Start or whatever the alternative is on your device.
- Wait for the Diagnosis to finish.
- When the diagnosis finishes, click on the COPY button.
- Open the Forum from the App after you have copied the Diagnosis results.
- Return to this thread and paste the Diagnosis result.
- Explain your issue at the top.
- Wait for the Devs to respond.
