[unknown] Consistency and quality. I wouldn't pay too much attention to the views just starting out, however.

I dunno if its just quality or release schedule or what, but my book gets 1k viewer each chapter. Two of my friends Dragon rider of hell and Lord Maximus have even more.
[unknown] Promotion is also key. There's the thread here, 'Promote Your Novel Here/Review Swap', and the weekly TGIF of mass release.
Review Swap can help boost up your book and make it appear as suggestions for other novels similar to yours. TGIF is a way to release more chapters than normal. WN asks for authors to join this and post the list here, Facebook and Instagram. It's good since readers also like novels that can update daily or more.
There's also some promotion thread going on in the Webnovel discord server. You can ask readers as well to do some promotion. A number of novel servers have a place for recommendations that other fellow readers might be interested in.
It also helps to be an active WN user. By this, I mean as a reader as well. Have the 'Author' badge equipped so if anyone spots you, they might be interested to check out your profile and your works.
While you're at it, maybe use your novel cover as a profile picture.
Anything can make a difference really.
Good luck and Ganbatte!

Very first reason. Your book didn't have a cover so the people hardly get themselves interested to read it.
and maybe more interesting synopsis will do as your synopsis was too short, it didn't describe what kind of mc he is, etc..
I suggest you to just continue write more chapters.
you know sometimes the views just grows itself as the story continues.
As I'm myself had experienced that kind of feeling, and now is about to hit 1.3m views on my 47th chapter.
[unknown] You can join TGIF through the Inkstone Server. Every Thursday, a staff member will send the form. All you'd need to do is fill it up! There should be a link to the server in the Inkstone website - the 'Assistants' tab will open the option for you.
I will read it when I have the time. I can't make promises. :)

I dont know if it was late or not.
But I tell you. Do Not use an emoji/chinese/japanese/or any other characters.
Or you will get your book being whitelisted (some kind of ban) by the webnovel.

Let me tell you all I did until now:
I used the shameless promotion twice.
I used my persuasive skills with my family and friends (asked 7 people, four of them actually read)
And most importantly, I kept going.
I had the same number of views as you do at ch-6. I can say you are in the right track if you want to become like me. But thats no good. As I told you, others have got more views. Xennara: The Dragon Throne have more than 25k and got trending with only 27 chapters.

@[deleted] Don't drop links to your novel unsolicited & so aggressively. This bot's system will automatically detect it as self-promotion and flag it. If you want to review swap/self promote, do it in the monthly thread.
Links deleted, warning given.

Major231 Sorry, but your account is just very suspicious (level 1 account, only activity on novels by said author, making a whole thread about a new novel w/ very few views) so that's why it falls under the high possibility of an author's alternate account promoting it. If you want to discuss that novel, do so with the other readers of the author in the comments for now please.
In fact, given how this novel is newly started, I assure you that the comments you leave on the novel will be far more valuable than a forum thread. A very small of the percentage of WN's userbase uses the forum, so your comments will be more encouraging to the author since they will encourage other readers reading through to leave their own thoughts as well. (the possibility of readers starting a discussion about the novel with you in the comments section is far greater than a forum thread). :)

No, why would you think that all on a sudden?
if u check inside, my writing is very unprofessional and i dare say, one of a kind.
[unknown]
You got the wrong idea of me. But do I really sound like such a professional guy? I am kinda flattered here.
But I don't want to become a contracted writer. Writing is not my thing. My passion is martial arts and my academic subject is Science. I guess I need to write about why I write? (see what I did there)
Never guessed the first one to know this would be a complete stranger. But I kinda started to feel a little intimate with you now.
Ever since my childhood all the daydreams and the nightmares, I saw, were enjoyable to me. (Yeah I like nightmares. Normal dreams are boring.) But I was unsatisfied with incomplete they were. So, I always completed those on my own. Later when I got older, I decided I should link them. It created a wonderful story. So, I did not want to stop there. At last, when I finished my story, I felt a sudden urge to share it to everyone. I started sharing it with my brother and some friends through narration. One of the friends gave me the idea of webnovel and thus I am here.

[unknown] I have been writing for two months now with 32 Chapters. Currently, I increase publish pace at two chapters daily of 1.5-1.8word count.
Yet I only get an average of 200 views daily
Currently I have just 9365 views but I see books with less chapter having hundred views and they just started recently too.
How do I boost? Please??

BlaccLotus that

What??? I feel like giving up! 1.3???? I’m still struggling with 9000+ views. My first novel is still on 44k views with 37chapters and that because I left writing it for a while now.
Anyways, the collections for my first work is now in 50’s or 20’s
Does this mean something

Chapter 1 of my book got me 5k+ views mostly because it was a fan comic with a distinguished name in the title and I got some good art off the internet for clickbait.
After then separating the 20 pages from 1 chapter into a more reasonable and even 3 chapters total, it then added another 2K+ soon after, totaling 7K+ views in just a week (because I didn't take it seriously until I noticed how many people were also favoriting the fanfic).
With that new experience, I'd say that having strong growth in any one of your works, which is more likely to come from a fanfic as it is already a well-established title, is likely to channel viewership over to your other works, such as an original book.
Of course, objectively speaking this is good, and I was lucky to of developed this method while I am only just now dabbling in writing publicly, but I would like to stress the fact that the correct approach to writing shouldn't be towards an 'idea' of success, but rather, your intuitive sense of what you deem as success - such as achieving a goal that MATTERS to you. So, maybe getting lots of views isn't your goal, and that's alright, maybe you just want to write down your daydreams so that way you don't forget it and fanboy/fangirl over the characters in your head.
I'm not totally sure about what most people's interests in writing stems from, but for me, it comes from escapism, and I find comfort and bliss in that (though, I can imagine most associate that with a negative connotation, I personally associate it with the freedom to be myself - that idea about association also ties into something I want to emphasis as well, to "let go of everything" and simply be authentic and pure despite your potential burden of knowledge.).
Anyways, end rant. I hope this helps people.
