If you review my book and you have written a book to, I will take a look at it depending if the title and story are in line with what I am reading. And if that were true I would naturally leave a review behind ;)
It is just that I won't promise someone a review. If you are for example writing Romance I won't take a look at it ;P

Sounds like it's sort of a thing where other people will give you reviews, but then you get to choose whether or not you will give them reviews back? That's just a twisted version of review swaps.

It also falls under the category of self promotion, due to the fact that you are advertising your novel to people "who like and read my genre.".

Thus, warning given, thread deleted. If you are conflicted with whether or not people will give you honest reviews, you should just request for honesty instead of flattery on the review swap thread. :)
