Synopsis:
I don't even know why I'm bothering myself in writing this, but 'Livia's been hounding me on this for days so I might as well start.
Dear Diary...
Greetings. I am Crimson, famous for introducing various quality of life changes throughout the Empire. I am currently writing on behalf of anybody that might read this book of mine. Granted, 'Livia did say that I had a few... screws loose during a dark part of my life, but I promise I'm not insane. I mean, I'm simply insane by their standards, at least.
Yes. The reason I am writing this is because I'm a modern woman reborn in a medieval backwater.
I haven't told anybody yet, (Apart from 'Livia, of course) but I was once a 24-year-old down-on her-luck med school graduate that killed herself due to overwhelming self-disappointment and poor life choices. I didn't ask to be reborn, but God did it anyway. Resulting in myself being flung to a world that's stuck in the middle-ages, but with the benefits of having an arbitrary magic system called the Fraction System.
I shouldn't even write this in, but I might as well in case you don't know.
The Fraction System is something I don't even know how it exists. All I know is that Numerators are gifted with Elementalism and natural fighting prowess while Denominators, such as myself, are gifted at craftsmanship and the ability to enchant our work with Runic Essence. I honestly forgot ages ago what it meant but basically; Numerators fight, Denominators craft. It's essentially--------
Incoherent scribbling
God, I rambled there for a bit. Now, where was I?
I'll try to recount anything and everything about my life in this new world that I live in. I won't promise that I won't forget to write about some stuff, but that's where the second-hand accounts come in handy to fill in the blanks.
All in all, an interesting story to behold at my expense.
I hope you, the reader, enjoy the winding twists that is my life.
PS: If you're not me, then that means I'm probably dead or something. Please hand this book over to Olivia or my nearest kin. Or maybe we're all dead or adopted someone by the time you're reading this. Who knows.
NOTES:
Grill everyone I know about their experiences with me.
Keep this thing under lock and key.
Bury in the darkest corners of the earth in the event of impending demise.
