My words and sentences are being misspelled after I proof read them and release as published. Is there a way to lock my work so it can’t be changed? This is wrong and very frustrating!

texascann please specify it in detail. Are you typing in inkstone or in a google doc before copy-pasting it? I haven't faced any such issues till date, so it would be better if you can show some screenshots of it.

Overlord_Venus Basically I’m typing all on my iphone6. I have unlimited words on my iPhone but no Ei-Tggg no words-goÿ. It just changed to jibberish again!
Phones are notorious for these types of mistakes. You can easily edit after something is published on this app. I’m not sure if there is a way to prevent this on the app side of things. Perhaps your phone has a setting to turn off auto correct? I find that auto correct hurts more than it helps in fantasy writing on my phone.
Another way you could probably fix it is to type (or proof read) on a computer. I rarely ever use the website for this particular app (I like it because it’s easy to type stories on my phone here), but your computer is less likely to have this issue.
I copy from a word doc or google doc and usually don't have any issues.
The most that happens is that quotation marks turn into strange question boxes.
Thanks, Ull try!!)?¿ Here it goes again! I don’t even have several of the keys on my keyboard!
Oh, some of those characters you make by holding down the button. For example, hold down “?” For the option to make a “¿”. At least, that’s how my phone works. If it is auto correct, check your phones custom dictionary. It adds words that you “use” to try to not auto correct things you want to keep. Sometimes junk and misspelled words make their way in.
Also, that looks like coding jargon that becomes visible when you aren’t using coding. Does your phone have a downloaded keyboard or something?
Basically, when you use a macro or program, it runs behind the scene with coding. If that program modifies something, like text, it actually adds HTML coding around your words to give it effects. If the code isn’t supported on a page, the code just shows back up.
Here is an example:
the html tags (or code) for italics is “<i>” before and “</i>” after what you want in italics. If your words are italic when you type them, then you copy paste to a website that doesn’t let you use italics, those symbols show up before and after the italicized words.
