Hello, I've been invited me to become a contracted author. But I am confused by so much legalities and strange terms on the contract. Can anyone help me? to understand the contract in simple terms?

Neil_Ads There should be a name on the contract, which is your assigned content editor.
I suggest you contact them with a list of questions. They'd be the best first point of contact for these.
Alternatively, you can raise a chat with the editors via Inkstone.
If you go into Inkstone, at the bottom-left where your name is, you'll see a comment bubble icon with [...] symbol in it.
Click that opens up a chat session where you can raise your questions.
