I was wondering if anyone could help explain something to me. My novel is the Unrivaled Creator and will be the novel I am asking about in my question.
Currently I have 78 chapters public and 160,300 views. My question is, I have noticed that there are many novels with less chapters or around the same amount, but their total views are WAY more, like some are 700,000+. Does this mean that my novel is not very popular compared to the other novels?

They probably post at a lower rate. So their novels have been on the site longer. And so, more people see it, more views.
I don't think views matter that much.
I'm general, if you have 500 collections in 1 month, you are doing absolutely fantastic. I think. =)

Thank you so much for the explanation! I am almost up to chapter 80 (end of the first arc of the novel) but forget that this would only be day 12 writing and releasing on this platform. I suppose since everyone has had more time compared to me, that it is only right that they could get up to so many views.

TheSleepingTadpole Damn! That's actually excellent. I could barely scrimp 25k views with that number of chapters on my book.
It has taken me almost 2 years to scrimp 400K views and over the 100 collection mark. My book sucks here due to low reader base opportunity, so that says something.
I think you're doing well. Keep up the flow of writing to the story and enjoy your writing journey. Finishing a story you feel proud of is just as important as getting the views and collections.
TheSleepingTadpole Only thing that matters are your collections, power stones, and user interaction. (basically your daily report). Views are an irrelevant metric to see the success of your novel. You're doing good so far. If you are planning to go to the contracted route I would suggest starting stock pilling chapters now so you can create the largest privilege tier possible.
TheSleepingTadpole Wow legit calm down, webnovel rarely rewards multiple releases chapter updates unless you are a translated novel. Yes the more chapters the better but legit so many times editors say as long as you are posting everyday that is the best. It makes no difference to them when they feature a novel if they are posting 1 a day or 5 a day.l They look for consistency. And let me tell you the upload schedule you have is not possible to continue at a permanent rate. That is what i started with and I ended up burnt out and dying. Take it slower, stack up some of your chapters and make it so that you have lots of time to let yourself catch up. If you are spewing out that much content that fast, you are going to wear thin, and that's how novels go on hiatus sometimes indefinitely.
