Beauty and the Bodyguard is also dropped. No updates for at least a month if not longer.
It's a shame this isn't pinned as it is definitely useful but I guess Webnovel wants to keep it secret when they drop novels. If it's any consolation https://www.webnovel.com/category/ will soon be more or less equivalent to the dropped novels list at the rate they're getting dropped...
I'll like to add something too. I think about 5 months ago Webnovel decided to translate some books that weren't Chinese novels but instead Korean novels. They had a whole event prepared with everyone voting, hyped up about it, and just crying overall about having something new but it never did happen. There were two books I had bookmarked, "Surviving in the Bronze Age" and "Diary of King", and there's nothing there. After 6 months and people complaining in the review section, still nothing? I'm just frustrated because I can't find them anywhere else without the Korean publisher link. I'm still hoping and waiting but I feel immensely dissapointed.
Why should the originally completed novels being translated if Qidian can drop the translation? Where is Qidian commitment and responsibility for prevous wasted coins ?

Three of my favorite novels have been dropped by this company. Pursuing Immortality, Transcending the Nine Heavens and A World Worth Protecting and it was definitely not because they were bad.
One novel written by Fengling Tianxia, the other by Er Gen!! and i keep seeing new novels being chosen every week, are you being serious?

Dropped novel tag is probably too unprofitable. But how about they at least give us a dropped novel note in the most recent non-privileged chapter? And you know, unlock privileged.

No. There's been lots of counter-examples to that (waiting 3 months for the last 25 chapters).

CrispyCritter maybe because the status is not clear (dropped) it try to stay as long as it can as a normal updated novel therefore the privilege chapters are not released to be unlocked normally.
Iemand for the already completed novel, those privilege chapters eventually not privilege anymore and can be unlocked normally (using fast pass, lol). But for dropped novel, they are not completed yet and perhaps take longer time to be not privilege anymore?
GegeSadewa I'm not sure how long it takes, from what I could tell it depends on the previous release rate and the number of privileged chapters. But it does take quite a while from my experience, several months at least. I've tried figuring out exactly how long it took for the dropped novels on my reading list, but it's hard to tell.
