Okay I have eight books in writing and I think I have a problem I originally was going to release one chapter of each book a week but like a idiot I decided to add another book so now I have eight books I don't want abandon any of them because I like the concept of them all but I don't know how I'm going to release one chapter of each of them when I can barely write one chapter per month what should I do
Am I writing too many books?
If you continue like this, you will burn yourself out. It would be best if you focus on 1-3 books instead of writing all of your books at the same time.
I had 8 x wip in the beginning of this year. I'm down to 6.
I tried to do the 1 x chapter a day to book roster thing. But that failed since it was too demanding on my schedule.
So I focused my attention to one book until it was finished. And so forth.
It's best to test a routine and discipline you can stick to and is flexible.
As soon as writing is a chore you want to put off, that's the time to reassess your approach to it.
Focus on one, finish it, move to the next. That might be better than half doing 8.
heyitsbluejay 8? Ya probably. I mean personally it's hard for me to take up 2 projects at a time. It's better to give your attention to 1 or 2 at a time. Then write the rest later.
