Please let me sound off about where I am at with Webnovel and then judge me. Here since March this year and have felt totally lost. Yes, I'm an American but not a spoiled one. I know that everyone knows about my hacker who had now affected 5 or more writers having the same problem as me!
I've written everyone on Webnovel and they tried to help! Then they sent me to Inkstone Editors and they said about a week and a half ago that they were reviewing it. Still, i can't get them to return any information as to what is wrong.

I got Apple to check my phone and nothing was wrong there. They said that the app should be checked.

All I want to know now is how to get the copy of my book out of Webnovel? It's really bittersweet leaving because I actually had the push I needed to write with Webnovel. I even had several ideas lined up for a couple of books but now I must say the two words I hate in the English language, "I quit!"

I'm not a quiter but I'm tired of getting upset because of no answers or any way I can lock my story so I don't have to constantly correcting. i have written 27 chapters on an iphone because I can't afford Wi-Fi but that's around 28,000 words which is a feat all by itself!

So which Way is Out? thanks for some good people to talk to. I won't stop writing or attempting to because that's who I am.

texascann I'm sorry to hear that you're planning to leave this platform because of this experience.
As I mentioned before I'm having a similar problem as you so I totally understand why it is so troublesome.
Personally I write my chapters on google documents before copy-pasting them on here. Because when I write on here directly there are issues. If you want to stay here that is something you can also do to avoid this "hacker issue" .

If you're dead set on leaving then I'd recommend using a laptop/computer to copy your chapters one by one on a Microsoft Word document or a Google document. And then deleting all your chapters from the novel. You can't delete the whole novel due to some webnovel rule but if you delete your chapters then they are permanently gone (remember to also delete them from the trash to ensure complete removal, but I'd not recommend doing that in case you need to copy some content from a permanently deleted chapter cause then it'd be permanently gone and will never return)

Thank you itsmeTuba for your encouragement and suggestions. I just got Google.doc and I will try that.

      Thanks again!

        texascann you're welcome.
I'm also an author so I totally understand your passion towards writing. And to be let down by an application can very frustrating, I'm glad you didn't let the application stop you from continuing to write. 😊
