Hi, I am new on webnovel. When I first posted my story three days back, there was still a voting option for my story. But now, only the comment/review option is available.
Furthermore, when I click on my own profile, my story isn't shown on my profile page. Weirdly though, my story can be searched through search engine. I wonder if it's normal? Or did I accidentally do something against the rules so my story is locked?

effect_butterfly The story is not displayed under your profile because you might have used some special characters like !¥ in your book title. Try changing that, as for vote I'm not too sure

Lullabybao No there aren't any special characters, just pure alphabets. I am confused cos a few days ago (when I first started posting) I can still view it under my profile page...

But when I searched the name of your novel it directly came up.
Mark your main post as a bug and wait until someone responds here or try to contact them elsewhere regarding this. Especially in case you didn't use writing special characters.
effect_butterfly I had a similar problem when I started publishing my work. In the beginning stage i was able to use the power vote option, but one day I was unable to vote. So I asked a few of my fellow writers and they told me to check whether I have used any foreign characters in the chapters. I have used a few Chinese characters, so I removed it and now I am waiting for web novel staff to re-establish the voting system.
There is a criterion of writing more than 15000 words of a story to get the voting facility.

Hop on discord, any of the editors can whitelist you though cktalon is typically the one that does it.
As for special characters, that includes using unicode to get formatting options like bold or italics as well, both of which are restricted to contracted authors. Regardless hope you get it figured out.
Monsoon_Mangoes tbh, not really. 15000 words is needed to enter new ranking so your book is featured on new ranking.

MaxwellKHA Hello, I have a similar issue.. my friend tried voting on my book but it says "this work does not support power stones" could it also be because of my minimal word count?.

No, shouldn't be because of word count. Currently there's three reasons for people being unable to vote for your work:
A bug has occurred, let's face it the webmonkies at webnovel tend to be rather literal chimps, likely a bit of net code has gone bananas.
You recently included a special character in your story and webnovels automated software has blacklisted your book, special characters refers to using chinese/japanese/Korean characters, unicode formating (ie. Bold or italics), or certain emojis.
Your book is still waiting to be vetoed by the staff (editors), until they do such your work technically doesn't exist.
In all cases you're best couse of action is emailing webnovel support to get the issue resolved, if its the first two they're rather quick to whitelist your book. If its waiting staff approval... that's more a just sit and wait, they're busy they'll get to you when they get to you.
