So in the guide book for leveling...it says that levels are meant to show that you are a senior in the "reading world"...and here comes the question...how does commenting, replying and writing reviews show that you read a lot of chinese novels? It might show that you are a social person and have a lot to say but come on...you know that half of us are anti social in real life...thus being the cause of us being here spending a couple hours a day reading novels. Ok, lets now talk about the rewards for leveling...just an increase in the spirit stones you obtain when you invite another person to read novels...and that's it...I mean, is that really it? it barely changes anything, at least make the reward be something like increasing the amount of spirit stones you get for checking in every day, have your vote count enough for 2 people(or more depending on level) or let you simply have a title ( Example, "Sect Master 'Revolving Samsara'"). Next, I have read quite a few posts about people being dissatisfied with writing reviews, and Qidian probably wants the reviews to show that their website is doing well...if you really want that, just give people spirit stones for writing them. Make the amount of spirit stones you get depend on how many words the person wrote and penalize people who try to cheat the system by copying some essay about cats into the review section.
Basically, make the leveling system actually about reading more novels instead of just being active socially on the website, and change the rewards for leveling to something that people would actually want or be interested in
