Can I sign a contract with webnovel even if the words of my novel isn't close to 120000 words but the story has potential/quality?

I don't work for webnovel so don't take my word so seriously. But a contract is a serious thing. I think you would want to research more about WN contracts and reach out to those who have already signed a contract before you even consider thinking about a contract. I read some of their contract terms and it's not really favorable. You have to keep up with the word count that they will require of you to do and if you don't that would be your fault in failing to follow the contract terms. Before you signed any contract, it's best to always do your research or find someone who is able to give you legal advice like a lawyer. You got to be careful in reading all the little fine prints of the contract. But for now, you can just keep on writing. If you really want to make money, you can open your own website and post your story there. But the likelihood of making any money on webnovel is not that great unless your story is so good that it is hitting at least a million views. If you really want to sign a contract or know more about it, you can search the forums or go on discord and try to get in contact with an editor there.
