I don’t have any answers about the algorithm or how Webnovel does things, but have you checked these other stories to compare quality? I’m not saying that your story is bad or that you are a bad writer. However, if you are comparing your novel to something written at a professional level, does it match up?
I see a lot of people make posts that say things like, “How do I get more views/reviews/collections?” There are some tips you can try, like doing a ton of review swaps in the review swap threads, but at some point the answer is to write a story people want to read.
Again, I’ve never even read your story. This isn’t me bashing you. All I’m saying is that you should consider the fact that there is a chance that your story isn’t being viewed a lot because there is an issue in the writing.
It could be bad grammar/punctuation that makes your story hard to read. Have you proof read your story?
There is a chance that it “starts slow” so readers are putting it down before they get to the good part. Have you looked into that? Do you have a “hook” at the beginning to draw readers in? Does action happen quickly, or do you start with a lot of explaining?
I can’t list everything that could be turning people away, but maybe take a hard look at your story before you blame the algorithm Webnovel uses or something. If your story is as good as you can get it, try doing review swaps to get more views and feedback. If it’s still looking perfect, then you can maybe question the algorithm or look into other ways to promote your novel.
