How about allowing pictures and audio/mp3 to be added to the books? The mp3 could be used as background music to add a little extra flavor to the writing. Imagine reading a fight scene while listening to background music that complements the words written in the story or a romance story where the female lead walked into the cafe then bam love at first sight with music being played inside the female lead's head. Some pictures could be used to make up for some of the more detailed descriptions some authors may have difficulties in.
