        igniziouz What, do you think they pull trial read novels out of their ass lol? Trial read novels need to be licensed, they also need to be good. They also need translators who are interested in the novel so they won't drop the novel after two days. Judging from the current selection of trial read novels, they seem to be lacking in a few aspects...

            Coriene_Peters I guess that they don't need any licenses for Chinese novels, because, AFAIK, Qidian usually buys IP from the authors

                  Coriene_Peters when they put novels in pilot read section to be latter considered into TL read, there goes your license in the ass thing. After that they don't need dedicated translators interested in the novels as it's a long process for the book to be selected and they have a lot of time to search for that even after the novel is selected for TL read.

                      I thought they would atleast update the remaining novels with 40 chaps. I guess that's too much to ask πŸ˜ͺ

                            The absolute state of Webnovel, idk why they don’t bring back old trial read novel. They did it before. What happening right now is a travesty. People are gonna migrate to another site if this keep going.

                              i asked customer support and they said the update is rolling out slowly and we should wait for later today for the update for trial read novels
