Why forcing a genre to the reader? I am not a fan of romance genre...I even skipping chapter or dropped a novel, when suddenly there's a hint of romance....so, why?
Genre specific FP on check in
Same complaint. I don't even have one romance novel in my reading list. If you're gonna give genre-specific FPs, at least make it in the genre that I have the most of in my reading list.
Us free users were already feeling marginalized for a long time, what with events and such more geared towards paying users. Did you really have to do this? We have a measly amount of FPs already, and you've just reduced it by one more. What's the point of all those user surveys? I've been filling them out dutifully and honestly every time I get the notice, and always in the comments on how to improve further, I always mention do something to be more inclusive of free users. Way to read them and do the opposite.
Sorry to make this a rant of sorts, but this is just really disappointing.
Being on this app for almost 3 years I’m disappointed on how this app grew up to be. The only good thing that I liked was the power stones changing into tickets.
Now webnovel is just money hungry. I never really payed attention to the updates but suddenly not being able to use tickets for the books I want? Wtf?! Only allowed to read a specific book or genre that I don’t even like? Che! Stopped reading romance because the character build up was ridiculous, the storyline kept on changing & the MC’s goal kept on changing!!!!! I even dropped webnovel once because the abundance amount of Bad-A** woman who turn weak because of the ML!
If webnovel is going to keep on doing this I’m going to assume that there’s bribery going on.

For a guy that has no money and has an addiction to reading like me, nothing hurts more than being excited for the free pass reward at the checkin only for it to be genre specific. First time i got one of those i frlt devastated

Everyone, I figured out how to fix the check-in! All you got to do is miss out on 1 check-in, and it will reset. Make sure to do this around 20 days of the check-in spree.
DaoistzyN7zW I figured out how to fix it, simply miss 1 check-in and it will reset for about 20 days, every 20'ish days (or when it starts only providing genre passes) miss 1 days check-in, and it will reset the next day.
I have the same issue in FP.
WN is issuing genre FP that is unusable for me.
Pls correct this WN.

Same probleme here, as i only get Genre FP for Check in. I tried not checking in for 1 Day, to let it reset, it worked 1 day, but after that it started again with Genre FP. Not i waited 2 Days, in hope it fixes it, but the Day Counter starts already with Genre FP......
And then they give out novel specifically passes, to novels that don't let you use FP on them.
On the app daily check in reward is random. Has been for over a year so isn't something to be fixed.
Darth_Xiane No it is not Random. Accounts that are later registered, are continue to get All free Fast Passes, and i got the same, till 2 month ago, since then only, ONLY, Genre Fast Passes and not One All Free Fast Pass anymore.
Or you mean the "Random" Genre Fast Passes, then you are Right, the Genre Fast Passes are Random.
Actually its random period. I get different rewards every day. Tuesday might be a site wide fast pass, next Tuesday might be genre specific, the following might be a comic fast pass. It changes. Been that way for over a year. Now by the same token the website check in for some curious reason was static, but the website being different is nothing new either.
And yes sometimes ill get the same rewards in a row but with a login streak currently in the range of 160 days straight the random reward per day is by far more frequent than getting the same on set days.
