      Temari felt like a bucket of ice was thrown at her. She froze and her stomach clenched painfully when she heard that voice. She looked at the direction where it came from but it was too dark for her to see anything.
      “W-where are you?”
      “Where are you, not who are you, huh. Either you recognize my voice or you know whose room you entered without permission,” he commented.
      Temari gasped at the implication of his words. “I didn’t enter this room thinking that you will be here! I just…”
      “Got lost again?”
      Before she could think of a good excuse, she already saw a shadow move from the darkness. She stopped breathing when she finally saw the Crown Prince walking like a panther toward her, quiet but predatory. Temari’s eyes widened when the light of the lone candle in the corner of the room finally illuminated him.
      Rhys got rid of his extravagant prince outfit from the royal ball. His shoulder-length blond hair is wet, most of the strands were sticking to the sides of his face and neck. He looked like he just finished his bath. Not only because of his wet hair but because he was only wearing a long white robe, silk pants and nothing else. He was also barefoot.
      The robe was loosely tied on his waist so his whole muscled chest and abs were exposed. The pants were too thin and hanging low on his hips. Every time he takes a step forward, the material of his pants hugs his thick thighs and –
      “Loving what you see?” the Crown Prince asked mockingly.
      Temari quickly lifted her gaze to his face. “Not at all, Your Highness.”
      Rhys smirked but his forest green eyes remained cold and cruel. “Lying doesn’t suit a well-bred aristocrat’s daughter, my lady.”
      That was the problem, isn’t it? Temari is not a well-bred lady. She is an orphan and an infamous thief.

                      It was nine at night. Nothing unthinkable was happening or, at least the Best family was thinking so. As always Breta was studying and kind of dreaming after a while. No one ever knew why she was like the way she was or why her brown stare was so cold and mysterious or, how she used the sarcasm while needed and hiding this part of her personality usually that no one could understand that she can be a boss bitch if needed. Her dad was with his brother Rafe on the couch, helping him with his studies, mostly yelling. Her brother was a little stupid according to Breta. Even though he was six years younger than her, he always tried to copy his sister's behavior. That's what would make Breta furious. She never liked anyone copying her; it applies to every single thing about her. But most people seemed to be determined to make her mad and so kept on copying her behavior in a way or another. Luckily to her greatest relief, her sarcasm was beyond copying as it takes too much thinking and hard work and dealing with stupid people every day to be that good at it, they couldn't exactly copy that. Her mother was on her phone watching some kind of horrible videos at least Breta thought so. But according to Mrs. Best, she wasn't exactly watching those videos, silly or not, she was just bored and was trying to pass her time looking at the phone even though her brother, Rafe swore that he called her five times but didn't get any response from their mother as she was 'JUST LOOKING AT THE PHONE'. Mr. Best agreed with them at this point that it was a horrible way of passing time, but then never actually agreed to them in front of Mrs. Best.

                      It was 10 at night when the family went to have supper. They were having mashed potatoes and some soup. Breta was reading her already 15 times read comic book about the psychotic crazy girl. Her dad was talking to her mother about the gloomy weather and then returning his attention to the tv again. Her brother, Rafe was laughing occasionally as Breta seemed to not only enjoying the comics but also making several sarcastic comments about the crime show and objecting that they could be smarter and if they listened to her they could have solved the case sooner and so on though Breta never understood why people usually found her funny when she was being awfully truthful and mean and was insulting the so-called laughing people. However, after supper, Mrs. Best was cleaning the dishes while Mr. Best and Rafe continued watching the crime show and Breta was then looking at something she found strange out the window. She first heard something, kind of like the footsteps of several people who were trying so hard not to make any noise, then she went towards the window and was trying to figure out exactly what was that. But then to her disappointment, everything went back to the normal quiet night instead of the sneaky noisy one that she hoped for. She could hear nothing except her breathing and the wind of the gloomy weather.....

                      It's written about a teenage girl's entrance into a new world. I've published 23 chapters yet.
