Gigie the forum is for everyone on Webnovel, there’s just been some overzealous new authors that haven’t read the rules about what is, or is not appropriate post. Because of the Spirity Awards Contest, many new authors have joined the Webnovel community. The editors and moderators are super busy, so I thought making a thread to warn the newbies would help them out.
If you are a reader, this is a great place to check out stories through the self-promotion threads. Or if you have a specific type of story and/or character preference, you can make a request thread. Just make sure to be specific.
Example: I love the book Star-Crossed In Time. I could request stories with similar elements and/or characters. However, be prepared for stories that have nothing to do with your request. Those are the Shameful promotions I discussed before.
