When making a new novel, be sure that your novel is in the contest. Make sure you click dropdown box called 'Writing Contest' before submitting your novel. Remember to upload at least 4 chapters to get it through vetting so people can see and vote for your novel! Doesn't mean to just stop after 4 chaps! Keep uploading. It will help.

I know there are prompts given, but I want to understand if we're supposed to pick one of the ideas and write about it or just write based on the general prompt and disregard the idea?             Damn, I literally created a novel a few days ago. Would be count if I make a new novel to enter and then copy my novel over? it's literally 3 chaps but that still took me a while and I don't want to think of a new idea and spend ours of my time to catch up to where I was.

              JackCook You can create a new novel and copy paste your chapters of a previous novel. HOWEVER, that means you will need to delete those previous chapters, and change the title of your novel to (deleted) or something similar since you cannot delete the book.

                  bianhua take the general prompt if you can. The ideas exist so that they can help you get started, so you can use them if you want to.

                  You can keep serielizing even after the contest ends. That's completely fine.

                      JackCook someone suggested this to me and i believe it is ok, as long as you're alright with the previous views to be discarded (assuming you will deleted the old story) since it will be taken as a completely new work.
