The golden ticket is just that, another gold digging scheme of webnovel. I mean, privilege to read ahead costing between 1k to 2k coins plus discounted chapter costs was pricey but now spending 500 or more coins for a ticket with some authors requesting thousands of them to get bonus chapters done is just rather mind boggling.

And even more nuts, My Vampire System is STILL rank 1 with this new system.

    First: You don't have to spend more than you usually do just because of the golden tickets.

    Second: Golden tickets are a good way to prevent botting.

    Third: Ratings disappeared and this sucks big time. Bring back ratings!

Seeing how they’ve been setting things up so you have no choice but to spend more, I am scared of being trapped, not to mention, I am wary of online money transfers to a third party that hasn’t been cleared by my bank.

        Really disappointed that they got rid of the ranking for the power stone voting. I've spent years climbing up the ranking, placing 24th out of thousands, and now it's all gone.

          ealdgyth i was at #4 in the rankings 88 stones behind #3 i started from the bottom n it took me nearly 3yrs of stiff competition to make it n now it's all gone. It's just depressing.

Either on the vote shortcut or in the novel’s “About.” Only a summary of how many power stones in the current week. We used to be able to see how we are moving up the ranks and how many stones we have already given. I’m ranting. I’ll stop. 🛑

                      The golden ticket system was introduced to get rid of bottters. Many novels received PS from several bots and undeserving novels were going up in rankings. This system is designed to be more fair to authors. The PS rank is still there, just not as important as it used to be.

                        Tea_Tae I know. It’s just sad, that a fun feature has to go just because of some unscrupulous people ruining it for the rest of us. Just like the much abused XP. ☹️

                          KhadijahMakoul Your rank is still on PS ranking. But it's not a reliable one because PS can be botted. GN tickets require spending from the readers' part. If they spend, they can vote for the books which they like. It's aimed to get rid of the bots (which many authors used to push their books up). Also, it encourages readers to pay more.

                          I'd suggest you not to think of PS ranking and see where your book fares on Trending ranks. Remember, PS can be fake but it's the trending rank which shows how profitable your book is. Also, GT shows how many people are actually using paid coins on your book. It's actually quite useful for authors.

                              Google pays 390$ reliably. My last paycheck was $55000 working 10 hours out of consistently on the web. My increasingly youthful kinfolk mate has been averaging 20k all through continuous months and he works around 24 hours reliably. I can't trust how direct it was once I attempted it out.
