There is no longer a tool to translate it into French, is this normal?
Google Translate
Same question here!
same here the translation tool disapear
Webnovel the site it is not responding.
I can't translate it into Spanish, I don't know if it's the same problem, but when I open the chapter it loads everything in Chinese (I guess) and switches to English, then when I want to use google translate it translates as a bunch of separate letters
I don't know if something happened to the site, but you can't use google translator to read the chapters, only the title is translated, and the first sentences when it is locked and when I release it it is in English but by google translator it is with separate letters.
webnovel site with bug to translate to portuguese

The same thing happens to me with Spanish, apparently they do it so they don't copy from the novel , i feel sad because I read the novels in English, they should add an official translation, similar to Google, so we only read in the app

Same here with French!
My opinion here, the problem is that the webnovel is now encrypting the texts and then it is impossible for google to know what is written.
It's stupid anti-piracy system. Here a way you can try to avoid any sort of their strange systems:
1) Make a long screenshot of all chapter. My browser has build-in function for it. Just google screenshot with scroll,
2) Leave only wanted text in this screenshot.
3) OCR it. Just google "OCR online".
4) Get text from previous move and put it in translator.
Till you see text you will can translate it. It's work averywhere also.
I've been writing the problem with the bug for more than 20 hours, still no news from them, so either they intend to put it back or I want a refund for my leftover coins from their site, if it doesn't count put it back. Because if I can no longer read in French, then why continue with their site ? Especially the bug must be more than 24 hours ago, no news, nothing, so it would be cool to reassure users, wouldn't it ?

Its not a but
It is exactly for anti-piracy system against TTS(text to speech) that has caused this.

This is how it looks it looks to TTS or google translate:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zG8NI3mLIUr65oo1apIfaCQjmLKyS03p/view?usp=sharing
so in an attempt to stop users from using TTS they not only bricked translation from being used but also encouraged users to literally copy the content of chapters, just so that users can read it.
I can understand the need for copyright protection but there is a point where the return on implementation will actually be detrimental to a website instead of beneficial.
What an idiocy they have done ... now I have to go to pirate sites to read these works ...
