Hi! I've been a writer on webnovel for awhile now, and i decided to make a reincarnation novel for fun. I'd appreciate any feedback on what I should include in a reincarnation novel or not or what's been overused or not used enough. Basically any advice or ideas!

    As long as it's not another revenge story where a whole group of cultivators gang up on the protagonist to steal his godlike techniques or elixir recipe or divine treasure, ends up driving him to his death, and he reincarnates in the body of a supposed "trash" only to use his cheats/plot armor (the godlike technique oor elixir recipe or divine treasure) to become overpowered and beat up everybody stupid enough to provoke him.

    Oh, and if he reincarnates in an urban setting, please don't have him save a random old man, who becomes so grateful he practically gives away all his wealth and resources to this guy he met for the first time.

    Or if it's a CEO novel, please don't do the whole evil stepmom/stepsister and "I'll avenge you!" where she proceeds to slap everyone's faces while the suppsedly cold-hearted CEO falls for her because of her antics.

      [unknown] I think it will be interesting if your novel wouldn't make your character OP. Since most reincarnation would give the MC an op cheat that would make him invincible. Make an MC that only uses his brains, playing around with people like a game of chess. I tried making a novel based on this idea however it was just too much for me. Oh and also give me a link to your novel after you're done!

        I was actually planning on that! To not give him an op cheat, or make him stronger then anyone else, but instead use his head. I definitely want to give a breath of fresh air to the genre so best to avoid the op cliché xddd.
