I'm telling you guys having to pay for these chapter freaking sucks. We need to start giving this app a bad review in the app store. Then maybe it'll go back to the way it use to be.

Yeah, I agree I sometimes drool at those chapters that are just waiting to be eaten... eh I mean read. Unfortunately I'm hesitant to pay for these said chaps. Although it say you can invite your friends they typically ignore such invites so it really hinders my reading enjoyment.

Zeus13 “way it used to be?” What way is that? Webnovel has always been like this. The only reason there were only ads before was because webnovel was still new and didn’t have many chapters for anything yet.
UnderTaker26 Plus I don’t believe they’ll change anything even with bad reviews. So long as some rich kid is willing to shell out the cash it’ll be equal to dozens or even more regular readers and they’ll still make profit. They focus on the 1% willing to pay no matter what as if these stories were like fine meals when in reality they’re more like fast food in terms of quality. Never understood how that came up. Real novels need months of fine tuning like a high class meal needs long preparation while webnovels are rush jobs chunking out a chapter a day like fast food makes meals in minutes and yet qi is charging the price of fine dining for fast food.

@Zeus13 You are already reading official works that use the efforts of original authors and their translators. The works have royalties tied to them so of course there needs to be a way to pay for them.
Some of these works can not be supported by ads alone. So you have to understand that in order to keep the book's translation ongoing and continue, a price needs to be paid.
Most of the premium novels I read, slowly trickle out the translations 1 chapter at a time, while the premium has a faster release.
I can wait since I read it FREE.
You must learn to wait yourself, you are already enjoying as much of the free content available on webnovel already, why must you demand more?
As long as they don't completely lock you out, then I don't see the problem.
TKA is a premium novel with SS unlocks. But free chapters increase 1 a day so I don't see a problem with it.
Well, its not like I actually am not willing to pay SS and I am grateful for the translators. But sometimes I get yhe feeling of there too many filler chaps among the premium novels and are just there to beef up the numbers of the chaps and that id why they are called "fillers" and often used when authors are sometimes lacking inspiration. I'm not saying filler chaps are neccesarily bad but when there are too much it make us lose interest and makes the story seem bland and repitetive. The filler chaps can also distract you from the main story but can also show the interactions of the MC towards the side characters. I understand that premium chaps are there to support the people that provides us these chaps. I can't say that I am patient enough to wait for months just for a single chap but I actually just stock those less interesting ones then go back to the ones I really am enjoying.
