NineNeatherBird yea The manhua hasn’t even left glory city’s minor world yet (I forgot the name, was it minor or tiny world?) the progress per chapter is abysmal as well and with how fast mad snail is rushing the webnovel it may be done by the time the time the manhua catches up even with 1 chpt/month

UnderTaker26 he is rushing the story but in one of the more recent chapters it said that martial ancestor was only the beginning of cultivation. Seems like if he really wanted to he could still write a ton more chapters.
NineNeatherBird That is not the real reason. The real reason is that he just wants to abandon it, but can not because of contract.
BTW. Mad snail abandoned most of his novels midway and even tried to release some with another pen name, but it got found out

I long gave up on TDG. Didn't madsnail announce that he'll end that abomination in 500 chapters?
CKtalon it's around 400+ ch now plus 120 ch in 10 years. So that's still around 500 chapters. Only difference is that ir would take 10 years.

As I recall rebirth of the thief who roamed the world was also written by mad snail. I heard he rushed near the ending there too. It’s such a shame that this guy has such talent but lacks drive.
NineNeatherBird That's just his excuse. He dropped the webnovel even before the manhua was announced. He is just a lazy bum that starts writing a new story without finishing the last, and then goes back and rushes the ending of the dropped webnovel just so he can focus on his new shiny work. He is been doing that a couple of times already, and some suspect he has another webnovel with a different pen name and he is planning to drop another one. He is a trash writer and he is unprofessional. Just don't read his work, there are plenty of similar works that follow the same "best-selling" formula.
