Here are a couple problems that I've noticed when using inkstone:

-When you begin a novel and don't upload a cover, then there is no way to change the cover afterwards. Even if you change it in inkstone, the changed cover is not seen in Webnovel.
-The word count isn't accurate. I have written around 2000 words, yet the word count says I have written 500.
- There is no way to delete books. Especially since some authors have had to create new books to change the cover image.
- There is a disconnect between what you see in the mobile version and what you see in desktop. For example, I can see my new cover in mobile, but not desktop.

The first cover was for "Gold" and features a sceptor, a crown, and a dagger. The new cover is black and has a taxi and the title on it.

    Oh, and when you try to click read chapter, it does not go to chapter 1 and instead says that an error has occured. The only way to bypass that is to click table of contents and manually click chapter 1.

      1. About the cover issue, we will fix it in the next release (It's currently being tested). In fact, the cover is updated, but cached by your browser.
      2. The word count will be updated only by clicking save.
      3. The same with 1. we will fix it in the next release.
      4. About the wrong chapter, I think you have deleted some chapter that you have read. So the record in our system for you still remains at the wrong chapter which results in a wrong page. This is not a bug. Currently you have to manually click the chapter from the content as we can't tell where you are, because the chapter you read is already deleted.

          Leialeial Hi. Also using inkstone.

          1) You can edit and change the cover. After you explore your novel, there will be a cog on the upper right of the browser that appears in the page of inkstone. Click that and you can view the page when you created your novel. Edit the cover, title, etc.
          2) word count only updates after you save. I don't know what you experienced but my word count in word and inkstone is the same.
          3) There is no way to delete. I think QI is going to implement that later along with other additional tools for inkstone. But that comes down the line. not included in the may 15 update.
          4) It depends on your browser cache/history. I've already updated my cover twice since they were drafts. It only shows the first version until I clear my cache so it downloads it again. But the setting of the novel already show my updated cover. FYI. And I thought you were unable to upload a cover?

              ~-~You need to clear your cache, (if in chrome you go to chrome://settings/clearBrowserData then clear "Cached Images and Files") otherwise you will not be able to view any changes in images made on the sight.

              ~-~2 reasons are possible, clicking update//save is one, if you have not done that than of-course there will be issue in number of words, the other one is <All this text and maybe even some text after won't count in the novel due to the symbol at the beginning and end>

                    dapenggaofei Has there been something done about the cover issue with the update? Because I have a similar problem with my novel.
                    I changed the cover about a week ago and it is shown as such in the desktop version and on the mobile page but not everywhere in the app. On the app, the right cover is shown on the detail page of the book and in the genre listing but it has the wrong cover (with the wrong title, so it's a problem) in the library. I already cleared my cache 5 times but nothing changed. Even deleting it in the library and putting it back in wasn't helping. Is there anything else I can do?

                        How can i delete my Cover ...There is no option to turn back default

                          Ok. I don't know if I'm the only one, but when I tried to publish for the 12th Writing Prompt Contest, the email I put for verification was already used. But I'm the one using it though So, why can't I use my email( the email I use for Qidian) to publish?
