I am not sure how to put it, but I have been here since the beginning. The original novels were good and there are many that still are. But we all have seen a dip in quality. One of the reasons and most annoying thing i have seen is that because of the locked chapter by chapter system, authors just try to increase the word count and write chapters after chapters. Most of the stories feel hollow due to it. Also if its their first time and their grasp on language is not strong they don't try to improve their skills but focus on increasing the release rate. And due to the humongous mess they have created many are not even willing to rewrite previous chapters if suggestions are given from readers and are unwilling to improve. I understand that the system is for support of authors but the system needs to change. But i am not sure what sort of system will be appropriate so that authors are supported while the quality of stories is maintained to some degree.

You're not wrong but it is also not the complete story. The element that is missing is are the readers. Especially when the first chapters of a novel are well written readers tend to endlessly complain/comment on wanting more chapters. This in turn can have a significant influence on the pressure an author feels to release new chapters.

The suggestion that I made through the feedback functionality is to make it more easier to plan a novel (eg have a tool that allows you to plan a timeline of events). But I also realize this does not solve the problem and can only make it less of a problem for some writers.
Ideally there would be a system where if a novel is popular enough that it earns good money that webnovel.com assigns an editor that has the power to force the writer to rewrite (parts of) chapters. And I would add that the editor can not only do this for typos and grammar mistakes but also to plug plot holes and over abundant use of plot armor. And it is probably wise to also have the editor force writers to remove expressions of nationalism and racism, these expressions are found too often and does more harm to the reputation of, unfortunately, mainly Chinese authors and in extension the webnovel.com platform than any of the other problems refered to in this post (at the very least for the non Chinese speaking platform). Off course the second type of changes should always be done in cooperation with the author.

It doesn't look like Webnovel cares for quality as long as novels make them money. And readers also tend to look for the same type of stories. Makes me wonder what's the point of making an effort to produce a good quality story when nobody cares about what you have to offer...

Jonkohrr and this is why I dropped my story's "other" version (chapters locked). No regrets afterwards.

This is part of the learning curve, I would say.
Authors will eventually improve if they persist enough in writing. Else they will give up and it is for the best. Webnovel's one unique trait I see is giving chance to everyone from any background. Other platforms are not as lenient.

My general rule is : if the story is unreadable, better don't read it. Be kind to your eyes.

And many writes drop their chapters in privilege read and then don't update for weeks sometimes even months. Webnovel should specify a time that if the authors doesn't post a chapter in a specified time then his privilege chapters will be posted.

Various academic and professional disciplines were catered to by this platform's top personal statement writing service, which made sure that each statement was customized professional personal statement writers to the applicant's particular experiences and goals. I knew I had found a reliable source because of their attention to detail and dedication to providing high-quality articles.

That's probably true. But if the written work is questionable, it is better to seek help from professional editors. Personally, I turn to 99papers for writing and it saves me the cost of an editor. And the quality of the written work is on top.
