Hi, I seem to be getting some problems publishing my novel. It says that my chapter is published on inkstone, but I have not seen my web novel site being updated. Also, I have not been seeing my chapters on the recent post for original novels when I do post. Please help.

      Dannnnz Umm sorry but I have a problem I deleted a chapter but it doesn't disappear from the site.

          then it will remove the extra spaces, the only way to get it to keep them is to do something more like this:

          Text
          _
          Text

          So that it will keep the space, if you hit enter/return without any text, it will remove that line.

              lynerparel Sometimes it takes up to 24 hours to update (not often), also, did you refresh? If you did you might need to clear cache.

                  Dannnnz Sorry, can you help me? an error occurred when I wrote, and then I deleted it. when it is updated it becomes a double chapter. how to fix it?

                      Pipiye Similar bug. I don't know whether Dapen had 'found' the problem. You CAN'T delete chapter for now. Let it be for now! You can't do anything. Make a comment to mentioned it to your readers that there is bug in webnovel.

                      I would suggest to update directly in the future. No need to delete and post. Some readers might be... can't read your novel anymore. There is a bug (for Apps) with syncing DELETED chapter. They would found your novel empty.

                      Dev are working on the last bug.

                          hi i have a question. if i published my story but i can't find my published book at the search engine of web novel, what should i do?

                            peacheeroses Hmm.. I've never encountered this before, only an author not searchable.

                            But are you sure the novel was published? Is it in your profile, e.g link? In case peacheeroses was your author account, then I also can't search it. If it was not in your profile, then the novel was probably not yet published. You can check if there were published chapters in inkstone if you clicked the 'Published' button or tab. If not, then check if maybe your chapter was blocked in the Drafts. That was usually a problem for unpublished chapters if it has special characters.

                                SweetsTomato it's "My Seventeen", and i assumed it's published since it's at the published column.. i've tried deleting and re-publishing but it's still not there.

                                    peacheeroses I ever have one chapter with locked status. Because I put some Chinese letters there, although I already erase that character it's still locked.
                                    I delete the whole chapter and reload again without those character and it works
