I was reading a trial novel on my laptop but can't on until download the APP! It never happened before! So, why start now? It is really a pain in the behind! It took away my joy of reading. Whoever came up with this idea need to rethink or get fire. Webnovel need to go back to the basic and not to come up with all this unnecessary changes.
Why I have download an APP to read?
they're probably trying to earn more ad profits or sumthing, also a bunch of other shit but eh just my guess.
Just don't bother with using the site to read honestly.
They will only add more datamining or more ads if you use App.
My way, and the moral way, is to DELETE your account.
The bitches claim they can't delete my account and say I have to go to app in order to delete my account.
Meaning admins can't, and I can't manually.
Webnovel is a joke.

I found that if you unlock 1 chapter for a story/novel on the app you can just got back to PC Site and you can view and unlock it like normal for that novel

In the last several days, Webnovel has been forcing FANS to download ITS Webnovel APP for all devices (laptops, readers, IOS...etc.). When I first discovered this site, it was optional, now to continue to read, I am forced to download an APP I don't need or want.
I was able to pay per chapter and purchase chapters in "Bundles." These options are completely removed, so to continue reading or even pay for chapters "FANS," have no choice but to download the APP. As a FAN, I feel greatly disappointed in this decision, whether by the authors or upper management, to force its FAN BASE to download its app just to read. Not only will the authors lose out on revenue, but fans like myself will go elsewhere for their enjoyment.
==Note: After reading the few free chapters, I will be removing stories from my library since I am unable to purchase chapters. I do not see a reason to keep it. I will also be posting this complaint in other books to show my displeasure.
