Agent32 your phone or tablet didnt sync with webnovel. It needs to be active and online to do that.

I have never had problems with syncing moving between 3 devices, pc, tablet and phone.

Your phone should have the app open, data/wifi enabled and screen on (not on sleep/standby). Allow data to transfer to the site to sync what you've done on mobile.

Website will recognize it should you launch it after the sync, not during. If you have the site opened on all 2 or 3 devices, it would be impossible to sync it properly because no one would know which one to resolve with,

KCChakry Owh, so the pc and app do not sync one onother? Yeah, i ended up have to memorise what is the last page i stop thru pc if i want to catch it up later thru the app..

17Sphynx17 Unfortunately in my case, they didnt sync to one another even both (pc/app) have internet connection.

Agent32 PC/M/App sync with each other. Would you please tell me what happened more explicitly ?
It's hard to sync with each other, if you keep the reading page open in three platform together. You should close it first then read in other platform, and then you come back, the reading process is definitely right.

When I read on app its sync with PC , but when I read on PC then it won't sync with APP ( to sync you must click on novel and click synchronize, in every novel )

GUERRRERO but does that mean it syncs? The mobile app is asking you if you want to continue per your pc's or browser's newest/latest read chapter as last reported to the site. That means it sync.
If you also have a tablet or whatever, it will also ask, coz the mobile app have its own cache to deal with. Unlike the browser that just request the data from the site, right?

yes it sync but if you read xx novel I don't think it works too good . I think better option is to add (on the app) in library button 'sync' or other name and this could sync every novel in your library

GUERRRERO I think rather than that. It would be better to add a bookmarking function. This serves 2 purposes. It could mark your last read chapter on any book if you bookmark it. So instead of working with sync which you could accidentally cancel, you could also work with a jump to bookmark feature. The 2nd purpose is that It can flag a specific chapter as something important or valuable to the reader. Let's say a really funny or romantic scene that really caught a reader's attention. That way, any reader could go back to a specific special chapter they want to reread.
Bookmarks won't be limited to just 1 per novel. There should be a way to have multiple bookmarks in every novel. I think that could work, but I may be wrong.

My concern with the sync button on apps is the question of who guides who? PC? Phone? Tablet? Given that each reader has multiple devices, a possible issue may arise in syncing if you do it wrong and you might throw your whole library out of whack because of it. That's why I don't support your idea.

I read on more than 3 devices. 2 computers, 1 tablet and a phone. So 2 apps and 2 browsers. And I have already made some mistakes when being asked to sync a book with the reading state of an older state device. Imagine that happening to all your books? So I don't agree with a master sync button because the leading device info might be flawed at a certain point in time.

dapenggaofei thank you. If it works, great! =)

I've always forget which chapter in a more than 300+ chapters of what I want to back read, especially now we have original authors who are working with writing.

Having the bookmark can let us "Sticky" it so to speak to serve as inspiration or reference later on as well.

Of course, it shouldn't be a copy but a reference to a style we could use to follow with their form of execution to describe, tell or speak to an audience.

Had times where I got stuck in writing and I knew I had read a way of executing that drew me in. Waste half a day looking for it in a book. Haha! =)

I second this. The issue of sync become a more apparent with more devices. I like mentioned have run into the would you like to sync question only to have and reread a while to find where I was
