Olivia yeah I hope so. LoL

But even still I won't made something like that lol *I will die if my mom find out I write bl short stories ๐Ÿ˜‚

I gave up on most original novels due to serious grammar issues, seriously even in the top 20 most novels are written with people who have English as a 2nd or 3rd language and really shouldn't be writing in English.

Olivia I hope so, too. Well, I still wouldn't delete the BL part, even if something might happen. It just wouldn't be the same story anymore

Mute Well, writing in english is encouraged because this is an international site. I certainly wouldn't mind writing in my own native language, but ... who the hell could read it then? And honestly, a lot of translated novels have the same problem. Certainly not as many, but there still are some. As a reader you probably only need to take a look at the first chapter to notice these issues, so I don't think it's that much of a problem even with a higher frequency of errors in the original novels

Mute I think it's harsh to say that they shouldn't write in English at all. However, this is why you should ask help from editors and proofreaders. It's nice to have another set of eyes looking after your work after all. People shouldn't let "I can't write in English" be an excuse not to write, because guess what? You'll be surprised by how native speakers aren't familiar with their own grammar and spelling rules.

If anything else though, I hope there is an option to let users write in a language they're comfortable with. Regardless of language, I think typos and grammatical errors will still exist.

kyurenai I mean at their current quality they shouldn't, if they can get a good editor that'd be nice.

I'm with yansusustories. Though I think if they have friends out there who are both fluent with their native language and English, I think they can work fine as editors. At least they need to get a reward for working with them. Mute
