I used an email address to set up this account, but the email I used is one i’ll lose access to in a couple of months, is it possible to change my accounts email or do I have to create a new account? Because even though I tick the stay logged in box, it occasionally makes me use a verification code I get emailed to log in.

Yeah, pretty sure after you've verified your email account, you can't change it. I only know of a way to change your password, but that's it really. Sorry.
