Im sorry, but why? Points are barely usefull for anything in the short term. I would say you need to read a few hundred hours to buy a single cosmetic. I understand limiting how much free stuff we can get daily, yeah, people need to get paid. But stupid points we collect very patiently to buy a cosmetic? Come on, that is just slapping us in the face.
If you think about it, only the people who collect them just because were punished. Those who use them to buy fast passes will just buy them when they get 2k points anyway.
