Same here, mine start yesterday afternoon and yet still does it now. I'm assuming it all started when this app start to have ads. Cause I could still use internet on other apps and watch YouTube but when coming to read on here, it will say error, no Internet. ..

Should work, because the app is working fine for me, whatever causes the problem should be gone after the old app data is gone.

Settings->about phone->android version.
maybe its a bug which is only affecting a specific android version because I'm on newest android oreo 8.1 and everything works for me as it should.
If it still persists after fresh install thats the only other thing I can think of because it seems quite a few people have this problem
(for example it could be a problem with the build in webview from old android versions)
