TypeFantasyHeart here's the thing about Mr. CEO though: They've done a 50% off SS prior to this. And now there's this. I kinda took this as not many people reading the series since BTNHH is not like this even though that's complete as well. An eternal paywall makes sense because, if you really want to read it, you'd pay the bonus ss needed.
But it's best to not pay into the eternal paywall at all. If there is no readership, they can't make money off the ad that loads in between chapters. To do so, they'd have to constantly offer to unlock or discount the paywall as part of a TGIF or something.
The funny thing about this website is that it hinges on us paying for SS due to reading too many premium series and wanting to read the latest chapter.
As long as people practice delayed gratification when it comes to spending SS, QI is the one in trouble, not us. The next step after this would be to raise the SS price per chapter, and that would get people to leave in droves.

happles I don't think it didn't make the cut. I think they are purposely stopping FMHM for a mass release. Most of us daoists are requesting for this for almost 3weeks now. Are they creating a hype? Is it because it's ending soon? Is it because they're rank 3? I mean the story is ranked 2 before but fell down to 3, I guess it is because of the chapter release. I don't really know the reason why but if they want to keep the daoists stay on webnovel, they should hear us out (most of my friends who used webnovel are now uninstalling this because of this saying they'll just let go since it's a bother to keep waiting). I thought when FMHM was ranked 2, they would have a mass release. Hahaaays! I'm just saying, we are willing to unlock it using SS. It's more than 3weeks, I don't think there's no new translated chapters yet. I'm very disappointed. I might as well leave webnovel, damn my badges,level, and SS. I hope this is not something to be banned. I am voicing out my opinion regarding since we are living in a free world.

francewaparis they have been purposely stockpiling FMHM and opting for mass releases for a while now. This was really noticeable before and during the week of the BTNHH amazon review TGIF wherein you'd get only 1 or 2 chaps in a day. Considering the number of commenters on that series when there is a new chap, lots of people pay up to read it so they do it a lot.
There's nothing wrong with it since it's just capitalism, but honestly, QI shot themselves in the foot with this type of pay system. I'm surprised they didn't take notes from the pioneers of going pirate to legit, Crunchyroll, and set up a subscription-based system in conjunction to a free-based system (can't even gift SS). At least money is coming in steadily rather than QI finding ways to burn people's SS to get them to pay.
There is no update on the chapter again for war sovereign soaring heaven. Please we demand again compensation since we have been using our SS to support the author and translator yet we get delayed updates and wrong chapter release. What is happening?is someone slacking off?
