While exploring the new update on the Qidian Android App I have found some points which can be highlighted as follows.

Pros -

  1. My Profile page

The new outlook of the My Profile page had me impressed, it looks much colourful as compared to last. I give it 100 likes.

  1. Notification settings -

The addition of the setting to turn on/off notifications like new arrivals, messages, reply, app notification and updates as well email notification is a good choice as it lessen the burden of my notification tab.

  1. Setting Icon -

Many of the fellow users have may not have noticed but the Setting option has now been converted to an Icon present at Top Right corner of My Profile page. Just giving a Heads Up

  1. Page Icon -

I have nothing much to say as I don't I have any preferences regarding the design of icons used to represent pages but new ones are good.

  1. Inbox Page -

Well, adding the 'Inbox' tag at top of the Inbox page is the only addition to the Inbox page. As far as I can see no changes have been made to the replies and messages.

  1. Night Mode -

The most efficient added feature will be the Night mode for the complete app. It is similar to the Night mode provided during Reading but in place of providing the black shade to the background it lowers the intensity of the brightness of the screen which is more beneficial for the eyes as per my thoughts.

Cons -

  1. Library -

"WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU ALL DONE?"

  1. Novel Sorting -

Sorting has too be provided in whole rather than providing in layering as this method has made the app slower while opening chapters in sorting mode. As a piece of advice provide spring in the complete Library just like sorting provided in the webpages.

  1. Notification settings -

If I give you a Chocolate wrapper with half of the chocolate present in it how will you fill. I feel the same way because the notification settings are given but they are not working properly.

  1. Spirit Stone Expired -

Why did the Spirit Stone packages present in the Notification Page got Expired right after I update the app? If I don't require the SS package on date why would I retrieve it and if I don't retrieve it you will expire it one way or another. Where is the Justice?

  1. Novel Cover Page -

Well, it has also been seen before the update. The cover page of few novels are not getting updated in the Library such as [The Daily Life of Immortal King] and [Crazy Detective].

  1. Updates for Badges-

I have been unable to find any information on the forum about the new badges added.

  1. Application Speed -

The total execution speed of the app has gone down severally as well as it has crashed multiple times in my Redmi Note 3 due to slow execution speed.
