The_King It is hard. You need to be top rank perhaps Webnovel would contract you.

Most original novels with editor are fans who loved your works. Ask for one to be your editor, they could get an earlier chapter in return and have their name in the works. (Remember you have to cited your editor if one day you publish).

You could also search for professional editor in freelance marketplace. It would be expensive tho.

I have to admit this editing took a lot times (this Rabbink had even reached 3+ hours in a chapter but it was because the software kept restarting because of my bad internet connection), but when I check/edit my own novel, I could add some 'repair' to the story. Sometimes, I see a wrong plot or even poor description. Checking it myself allow me to repair that.

Try to ask your readers! One of them must be a good editor. For someone who isn't a your reader to become your editor it is very hard.

PS: I have searched your novel in webnovel. You have dropped your novel once. That is a bad way to treat/promote to your readers or potential editor. Do not start with 2 chapters/day if it is hard! You should start with 1 chapter/day and keep some for when the author block/busy schedule stopped you. This Rabbink kept 50-60 chapters for emergency times as an example.

You have a clear writing style and your grammar is good. Your novel is also unique theme in this cultivation heavy site. (I thought I have checked your old one yet couldn't find it again.)

Your chapter is not long at all... Chapter 2 is only 1.000 word, chapter 3 is the same. Even 2 chapters/day is only 2.000 words. Compared that to +-2.500 words long each chapter of Library of Heaven Path that is very short. No editor required in my opinion.

Webnovel requires a 3.500 words per day to be contracted. (You would need to double your input, that is the difficulty to work professionally.) You should remove the dream to get an editor from WN. Your readers is the best helper you could find, you have some fans see the comment section. After you reached this daily rate, you might want to find an editor.

Since it is short, it isn't hard to put your chapter trough Grammarly. You have good grammar, you won't face huge problem.

          As for the words count, I have like a count of +2100 words per day (2 chapters). Since I don't like adding info dumps, to make my chapters longer. For the chapters, I have like 20 chapters always ready ahead, it's just trying to check them, and edit them, will take time for me (since I like to check many times).
          For the last novel Hail The Emperor that I wrote I stopped in chapter 6, even though I still had like another 15 chapters waiting to be released, because I had personal reasons, and I stated that in the comments section.
          I'll try to follow your advice, and hopefully, it will help me out!

                      The_King One suggestion I have for getting your work edited (if you are okay with people who are following your book reading chapters you have typed but have not released yet) is to put all your chapters on google docs in one folder and share the link to that folder in your novel (having the folder as view only) then make each chapter shared (as comment//'suggest edit' only), that way fans can give you direct feedback on how to edit your chapters.;,;.

                          The_King This is why don't force yourself for the target contract. If your pace is 2.000/day. Try to use Patreon for monetary for example. You will have your time without a strict contract deadline.

                          Use the money to pay editor, etc but you need to be VERY popular first before all of those. 20 Chapter is enough for stockpile. That would guarantee your reader.

                          I only edit 1 chapter everyday for the same reason. This give you a chance to re-read your chapter to help you repair if you find some plot holes.

                          I fell sick when I edit 10 chapters in marathon+making cover. That is 12+3 hours++ of editing. I learned my lesson and didn't edit too many in 1 day. I prefer to write newer chapters similar like you.

                          It is hard to get contract from WN. :D So it won't be easy, there is less than 10 who get contract and I don't see a editor cited in those novels.

                          Asking Sphookk would be better. You already got an extra reader. Do not reject him!
