Hi all, I've been reading on this site for a long time now, and recently, mainly in the FF genre, I'm finding that authors are just spamming chapters that say they are only writing this novel on patreon. I understand they want to make money off their book, as its their hard work, but why the spam and the misleading chapter counts and such? did something change with how webnovel handles novels that's allowed this or am i just noticing it?

WN is trying to deal with it from what I see with the whole vetting process. The only problem is that some of these guys write a bit and bypass that system which is probably what you can see. You could report it but there's honestly little readers can do other than voice the problem.
