Many translators/editors don't even check the Report Translation Mistakes forum....

That is pretty discouraging for people who report mistakes.

If the link is there on the novel page itself, they will visit it and get the typos fix

Please stop bumping all of your threads, you're cluttering the main page

I would go even more extreme and have a report error button on every chapter or as part of the tool bar. Have it link to the novel specific forum thread and pre-populate the text box with the chapter title and number as the header.
