Hi All~The results of our Writing Prompts Contests #6 are out! Based off of last week's power stones rankings, the first ten are as follows:
The first one will receive 5 Spirit Stone gift cards, while 2th through 5th shall each receive 2 Spirit Stone gift cards. ## (Each gift card contains 100 Spirit Stones).
Also, the first ranked author will each have their novels be recommended on the front page for this week. Today the gift cards rewards shall be emailed out.

Writing Prompts Contest #6: Age of Discovery in Another World
Another world where hundreds of species coexist! The generation is rapidly changing, with steamboats chugging along the rivers and humans finally breaking free from the constraints of sailboats! Explore the world and discover countless new islands and continents! The world has entered an age of discovery!
All the explorers are filled with excitement as they want to discover new lands and become heroes of the world! The wizards are researching new plants and metals in order to develop new potions and explosives! Knights are conquering countless islands filled with wild beasts in order to develop their empire’s territory!
And, apart from human territory, there could also be elves patrolling the forests, mermaids singing on coral, dragons flying high above their own islands, or gigantic tundra giants hunting in the northlands.
This world has countless possibilities! Your main character could be a human from this world or a transmigrator from Earth. The main character could be an explorer, knight, mage, inventor, native of an unexplored island, or even an elf, dwarf, or mermaid. Your main character could even be a powerful magical beast or dragon! No matter what, your main character shall definitely become a legend in this exciting generation!

Writing Prompts Contest #7: Animal Boyfriends
The concept behind “Animal Boyfriends” originated from Japan. Cat-types and Dog-types refer to guys with cat-like and dog-like personalities.
Cats are cold on the outside but warm on the inside; sometimes they’re cold but when they’re passionate and clingy, they’re guys who really get pulses racing. Cats may seem like their distant but in actual fact, they’re just not good at meeting new people. On the other hand, Dogs love socializing, going outside, and are far better at sports than studying. In love, Dogs are even more carefree and gentle, clingy yet attentive and warm-hearted.
From Cats and Dogs, there then were Tigers (overwhelmingly masculine), Foxes (have high IQs and EQs, and are very good sweet talkers), Deers (gentle and forgiving), etc.
Cat boyfriends: “Don’t cling on to me too much. I need my space.” However, when you’re slightly cold to him, he would lick you and ask for kisses and hugs. He may look menacing but deep down inside, he’s over the moon. If you get to hug him, you’ll be able to hear the soothing sound of his racing heart go “ba-dum! ba-dum!”
Dog boyfriend: He really misses you whenever he doesn’t see you, and every time he does, he would rush over to you like a puppy. If he had a “tail”, then you would see his “tail” wag like a rapidly turning electric fan...
Tiger boyfriend: “You’re my woman. I won’t ever let you get hurt!” He is brimming with masculinity, he can protect you, is outstandingly capable, mature and a successful man.
Fox boyfriend: With just his slight smile, you can tell that he’s up to no good. He’s smart, devious, and hard-to-read but as long as you’ve tamed him, then you would be the only one allowed to touch his “fox tail”...
Deer boyfriend: He possesses a pair of eyes as soft as water, and he always makes people feel at ease. When you’re visibly hurt or in a bad mood, everything feels good again as long as you’re by his side.
With so many types of “boyfriends”, which one do you prefer? Or perhaps, which ones do you prefer? Whose story would you want to write most?

One rainy day, the woman picked up an abandoned and poorly kitten by the side of the road. She took the kitten back home with her and took great care of the kitten until it was finally nursed back to health. However, since she took the kitten home, she felt like something was off... Every night, she would always dream about a handsome man, lying on her bed. Thinking that she was just dreaming, she boldly hugged and kissed the “hot guy in her dreams”, to which the hot guy would also reply back… Nonetheless, the next morning, she would wake up to only find the kitten she took in lying beside her...

How to join
When you create your new novel, you can choose any genre that you wish. Then, the writing contest options will appear. Choose the [Writing Prompts Contest #6 - Age of Discovery in Another World] or [Writing Prompts Contest #7 - Animal Boyfriends] option in order to participate in this contest.
Rules
1.The main topic of your novel should be the Age of Discovery in Another World or Animal Boyfriends. Otherwise, it shall be treated as an invalid entry.
2.Your story entered in the contest must be your own original work, with the copyright held by you. No plagiarism is allowed.
3.The contest will take place from August 13th, 2018 to August 19th, 2018 (GMT +8).
4.The story must not contain any racial or religious discrimination against any other cultures or their lifestyles.
5.Only newly-created original novels shall be allowed to enter the contest.
6.Webnovel reserves the right of final interpretation for all stories submitted in this contest.
