'Scourgify' is a charm used by wizards in Harry Potter world for cleaning things. How does the charm work? Does it automatically detects and removes the dirt or it follows the intent of the caster, who decides what is dirt. If it is the first, the spell would be very complicated because of the countless situations the charm can be used on. If it is the second case, can the castor erase someone/something (not dirt), who/it the castor deems as dirt?
