Zonoid it’s probably against forum rules to recommend competitors. But do you know what is even more insane? I’ve actually bought 500(+100 bonus) for 10 dollars. Lasted me 2weeks on following 2.5 premium only. I say half because one of them turned premium at the end. That’s just absurd for me.
But anyway, the cost wasn’t the insane part, the insane part is that since I’ve chosen not to buy more sprinting stones I can not read my novels anymore until the free chapters catch up to where I stopped paying stones. Which means I will have to wait 20 days at least to get anymore updates on one of my novels since it has 40 locked chapters. Idk how many locked chapters the other 2 have. This is why I called the mechanic like addiction. Either pay more or go without updates for weeks. Some novels apparently have more then 100 locked chapters which just makes it worse.
They could easily design a system where I don’t have to wait 20 days without a single chapter because I stopped paying. Fx. a dynamic system, The novel updates twice daily, they could make one of them free and next locked. Which means I’ll atleast get a chapter daily until the locked chapters stack up to 40 again. the current system will not give me free chapters until there are 40 locked chapters again, which will take 20 days.
So basically do not buy spirit stones unless you know for a fact that you will keep buying and never ever stop buying to read ahead
