MADE_IN_MEMES I am over a hundred chapters in and don't get much comments either. Got some 700 Collections, some 2K Valid Reads a day, and some 175K views. Just keep going and don't let a lack of Reader interaction bother you, you [and I] will get there, hopefully.
Nanoka
cause you dumb, and they love to milk the dumb
They probably implemented that ad-unlock whatever recently and haven't ported it over to the Membership system. They might do it, but who knows. I hope they do. They certainly want to milk you paying peeps further than they already do. You finding out is already something they didn't expect, and you posting it here was further out of expectation. But know what? They give no fucks, so you can only suck it up.- In Bias?
Cowshed Well, what do you expect from them?
Junior_Sundar Webnovel updated INKSTONE and now you can't add your own tags. You gotta choose from their shitty list that barely lets you get specific. Those bastards.
Also, the new cover looks :fire:
- In Bias?
Cowshed Reverend Insanity is already even with the RAWS. It's RAWs are on Hiatsu... cause the novel got cancelled in China because of its author doing something the CCP didn't like. What they don't like, they yeet! He's allowed to write a different book, but not allowed to continue RI. Or who knows? The ban mamy have already been lifted and he can write, but just doesn't want to write.
The Scarecrow and Demon Lord's author might be saner and know better than to step on the YeetLord CCP's (I just found my new username) toes. It has nothing to do with the gruesomeness and whatnot.
H0racio Novels participating in the Spirity contest become eligible for the Contract as soon as they hit 12 Chapters. Your novel is in the Spirity Contest, in case you weren't aware.
iron_faye You will receive a notification inside INKSTONE. You might also get an email from EMP Publishers who offer a non-exclusive Contract.

DarkDictator Your novel needs to go through the Editorial review process before it can support Power Stone voting. It's to get rid of all the books created by the spam bots and their dogs. Once you have 5+ Chapters with 4000+ words cumulative published, your book will become eligible for enablement of Powerstone Voting and all other normal stuff like: appearing on your profile, and whatnot.
Guiltythree All times on Webnovel are GMT +8, and they are a day behind. Your readers obviously don't immediately open and read your chapters. It depends on where you have majority of your viewers from. Are they from the West, or are they from the East?

call_me_mirror Release a novel, have at least 12 Chapters, and publish regularly.

Ikaruga_3110 There are no fees to publish your work here. If you want to earn money, you will need to get a contract from webnovel which will get you 50% of the profit from your novel when they start locking the chapters.

Kotario Unless they recently changed the Contract's terms, the authors are legally owed 50% of the ad revenue. I suggest you lot form an Authors Union and bring it up with Webnovel. I might be wrong, but it doesn't hurt to re-read the Contract, right?
MADE_IN_MEMES you aren't contracted so you don't matter.
Jonkohrr Your best bet would be to gather a list of your novel on every single aggregator and then go complain to Google about it indexing stolen content. Fill their form, provide whatever proof they want, and then wait until they get rid of the links from their search. This won't remove the novels from the aggregator's site, but it will at least get rid of the traffic they get from Google. But again, I doubt it's that much, so the effort ain't even worth it.
Tea_Tae It's as you say.
Well then, I am off to get myself a new anime-tiddie clickbait cover to get more readers. Bye~bye~
WoodenDrumRhythm you currently only have 8 Chapters, so you have potential for growth. If you had some chapters in the 50-100 range, and weren't getting results even after publishing regularly, there would be a need for worries. Don't fret over matters right now. Right now, I suggest you release every single day and get to a reasonable amount of chapters. Readers are skeptical to read books that barely have any chapters to read. The more chapters you have, the more someone would be willing to read it.
Sake_Vision your post has the answer to your novel's low stats. You dumped so many chapters in a short amount of time that it didn't reach as many people as it would have otherwise. You should have timed the chapters at intervals of a few hours each and posted them all over the course of a few days. How about creating the book again and reposting the chapters? Also, I suggest a clickbait cover. Webnovel doesn't enforce any "Only Your Own Cover" rule so you can rip some image from Google and use it, then rotate with other images every now and then. The only thing stopping you from doing this is your conscience.
MADE_IN_MEMES you can go to INKSTONE and check for valid reads. They are a good representation of how many chapters have been read.
A_Gitagon You seem to be releasing regularly now, so I suggest you get a clickbait cover as well. The second issue might be the names of your world and characters. They read really strange for me, and for others, I presume, too. You might want to try something that fits in the realm of Western, Fantasy, or Eastern names here on Webnovel.
Imma just say this but I don't have any formula for success. Webnovel has too many authors now, so competition is fiercer than ever. With that wolf contest that came up, it's only going to get worse.
Clickbait the readers. User anime-tiddie covers. Use the more popular tags. Use anything that can get people interested in your book. If you want a wider reach and audience, you gotta do this. It's the truth of life.
All-in-all, Good Luck! And happy writing!
lynduchannes It's a translation, so it's as good as dropped if it got no updates in a month. Condolences.
Misguided_Rooster Imma let you re-read what you wrote and let you sit down.
damn, you are still going strong. take a chill-pill. we see you hate harem and it might just be the worst thing in existence like you say, but what does it even matter? why are you so obsessed with hating on something just because it ain't to your taste?
Your opinions and feelings matter as much as the person standing next to you. Chill out, bruhs.
TheZombieAuthor this entire thread was literally supposed to end at this, lmao. Peeps got too much time.
