There is no real max limit for invites. You can invite an infinite number of people.
It's just than when you successfully invite 10 people, you get 10 Xp, when your cumulative invites increases to 20, you get 20 Xp and finally when your cumulative invites reaches 50, you get 50 Xp.
Also, you do get SS on every successful invite.

Where did you get to know that? So far I remember, I've always only got two stones throughout all levels till now(Lv. 4).
So far the advertisements are concerned, it is unlikely that it is a bug. Do you have a stable internet connection? Maybe your connection is very unstable and the connection ends up dead just before the advertisement finishes resulting in the system believing that you did not watch the complete advertisement and hence the issue of the chapter not unlocking.
On rare ocassions even my internet connections suddenly fluctuates, on one moment it is 11 MB/s and the next second, no network. Do you check your network status on occasions when the chapter doesn't unlock?

There may or may not be some bugs that I can point out which may or may not make a large section of people who are unaware of this bug pissed.
I guess I couple of spirit stones for the person who reports a valid serious bug is not really a bad idea. After all, humans are selfish creatures that really need some sort of motivation.
