  • No you're not rude at all. I'm a "you miss every shot you don't take," kind of person, so I was just throwing it out there. I wish I had the talent, or the time to gain it, but that's not exactly in my wheelhouse right now. Haha.

  • Here's mine. Thanks for the thread! I'll try to get around to returning the favor but bear with me, where I'm at right now, things are a little hectic.

    Synopsis:
Isaac was born to be the main character, and
he knows it. Though, were it up to him, that would
    not be the case.
He wants a quiet life. A normal life. For seventeen
years Isaac has done everything he can to avoid
    the lead role.
    Supporting characters practically throw themselves
head on into Isaac's path as he desperately tries to
derail whatever Pilot Episode, Prologue, or Opening
their "Chance Meeting" might result in.

Isaac Gray might not be a bad guy,
    but he is certainly
    No One's Hero.

    • I've recently finished the first volume of my own web novel, and as I'm outlining the second I've found myself toying around with a separate idea that I think lends itself quite well to a comic (manga, manwha, whatever you prefer,) format.
Personally, I can't draw a straight line with a ruler, but I'm hoping that there's some fanatically talented artist out there who simply lacks the ability to string together an interesting story. Cue our perfect partnership.

As for my writing background, I've written No One's Hero here on WebNovel, and will be publishing my first traditional novel once I'm home from deployment. I am by no means perfect, but I do have a solid background.
If you're interested in hashing it out with me sometime, just drop me a reply here with a link to your portfolio, and preferred method of contact and we'll chat.

[And if you're a mod here to shut this thread down because I'm not actually sure if I'm even allowed to post this here... be gentle with me, I'm delicate.]

      • Veinglory's story is a hidden gem. I would recommend you all take the time to read it for yourself. I picked it up, and didn't put it down. I'm now eagerly awaiting the next chapter. This is not the obligatory "I liked it" response, I repeat, this is not a drill.

        • veinglory Thanks, I'll certainly return the favor. And thanks for posting my link, I like to make little mistakes like that to ensure that no one ever confuses me for a professional.

          • chonnie I wouldn't mind review swapping with you if that's ok? I'm somewhat new to writing on Webnovel and would really appreciate it. I'll leave my synopsis and link here, and if you're interested, just let me know.

            • Hi! I'm fairly new to Web Novel. I would love to see what some of you guys think of my novel. I'm deployed to Afghanistan right now and have been using this as a distraction from some of the less than desirable things going on out here. I'll post the synopsis below, and if it sounds like something you would like to review, please let me know so that I can return the favor.

              • I have several original stories that I'm writing, here and on other mediums. I also have a fanfiction that I've enjoyed writing. I think it meets your standards of "originality," in the sense that the cast and plot are my creations. I just love the world the original content takes place in. What's your opinion on that?
